This site is intended to provide support to students sitting the CSEC Mathematics Examination. Much of the information is drawn from different websites scattered across the Internet and organized into a package here for your convenience.
To say the obvious, you must be willing to do the work if you expect to get a good grade. You cannot by wishing grant yourself a grade one. You just have to do the work and it will pay off in the end. Besides unless you are willing to drench yourself in your work beyond the capacity of the average man, you are just not cut out for positions at the top. But you are intended to be at the top of whatever field you choose so work hard.
I am often told by students that they just cannot study Mathematics. This is not the best mindset to have. There are several things that need to be studied, these include principles, definitions, formulae and procedures. Mathematics is after all a scientific discipline. The method has to be twofold, you must first understand the principle and then move on to practice and not the other way round. It is far easier to understand the principles rather than swatting examples. So get the principles down and then practice a lot to develop competency, accuracy, speed and your reasoning skills.
